All of us at Peruvian Connection are mourning the loss of our President,
Richard K. Lloyd. Rich passed away Friday night after an 8 month battle with
cancer.
Despite only being 36 years old, Rich
made an unforgettable impression on everybody he came in contact with. He had
an incredible spirit and passion for life and throughout his battle with cancer
he demonstrated amazing courage, character, love, grace, and determination. He
regularly emailed us at the office offering us words of encouragement and
advice while in the midst of chemotherapy and regular visits to the hospital.
He always looked forward and never back and he never ever asked "Why me?". We
should all be so lucky to show that kind of courage in the face of
adversity.
We
will miss Rich dearly. He made a mark on our company that will never be
forgotten.
This tragic story reminds me of Terry Tempest Williams' unforgettable book, Refuge: An Unnatural History of Family and Place.

I share your sense of loss at Rich's premature death. But more importantly, I agree that Rich's boundless optimism and courage in the face of great adversity is his remarkable legacy.
Rich inspired me in life, and his spirit is not diminished by his passing. LIVE RICH!

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Rich Lloyd,
He should be admired and remebered for his brave fight with the big C, and yet still have interest in peruvian Connection, not many like him, and OH so young God Bless Him
